If you love watching poker, there are many WSOP updates you can follow. You can learn about the upcoming Main Event and WSOP Europe, as well as the upcoming WSOP Qualifiers. Here are a few of the major updates for 2018. Keep reading for the latest.

WSOP 2018

The $1 million WSOP Big One for One Drop is back on the schedule this year and is sure to attract the biggest names in poker from around the globe. The previous record for the largest amount of money awarded in a tournament is held by Antonio Esfandiari, who won this tournament in 2012.

As the Main Event nears its final table, two tables are playing down to a single player each. As the field nears 50 players, the action is intense, with just nine players remaining at the final table. Two of those players are 2009 champion Joe Cada and 2018 3rd place finisher Benjamin Pollak. Both are vying for the title and another deep run.

The Rio Poker Room will once again offer satellite tournaments for the WSOP Main Event. The tournament will begin on Monday, July 2 and will end on July 14th. After that, Scott Blumstein will have a chance to defend his title. The 49th World Series of Poker will feature 77 events. A draft schedule was circulated on the web a few days before the event was officially announced. While there was some confusion surrounding the draft schedule, it was in general accurate. One notable exception was the absence of a $10K 6-max tourney, which was mentioned by PartyPoker ambassador Patrick Leonard. However, the $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em 6-Handed Championship did make the “final cut”.

WSOP Europe

After a one-year hiatus, the World Series of Poker Europe is returning in a few weeks. The festival in the Czech Republic features 11 gold-bracelet events and a prize pool of $20 million. The tournament schedule has just been announced, but you can already start watching the action by checking out PokerGO.

The WSOP Europe started in London in 2008, and this year it added a fourth event. The opening event, a PS1,575 No-Limit Hold’em event, was won by Danish pro Jesper Hougaard for a whopping $262,281. The WSOP Europe’s main event begins Nov. 11 and is expected to attract some of the biggest names in the game.

The World Series of Poker Europe is a prestigious event that attracts poker enthusiasts from around the world. It is one of the most prestigious poker prizes in the world, and this edition of the tournament is sure to be no different. Players from all over the world will come to compete for a coveted bracelet.

WSOP Qualifiers

WSOP Qualifiers are the first steps toward making the final table of the WSOP Main Event. Players must first win a Takedown ticket in one of six special tournaments and submit a short video. The video is judged by a panel of ACR Team Pros and K.L. Cleeton.

There are two types of WSOP Qualifiers. The first is the freeroll, which is the most popular option. A variety of sites offer freerolls into satellite events, though only a few offer direct entry to the WSOP. In addition to the low winning chances, freerolls usually involve rake requirements. A better way to earn a WSOP ticket is to play in $10-$1 tourneys and win two of them.

WSOP Qualifiers are open to any player who is at least 21 years old. Currently, the only states that offer these tournaments are Nevada and New Jersey. Additionally, the country of origin of a player may impact their eligibility for a WSOP qualifier.

WSOP Main Event

If you’ve been following the WSOP Main Event, you’ve likely noticed that registration for the tournament is closing tomorrow at 11 a.m. In order to get registered, you’ll need to have a few items in your possession. Listed below are some of those items.

There are currently 793 players left in the Main Event. With a $10,000 entry fee, this is an extremely competitive event. Those who want to participate should visit the WSOP website and keep an eye on the updates. You can even see who is left after the first five levels. You can also keep up with the latest chip count by visiting the WSOP’s website.

The WSOP is renowned for its massive fields, but this year, it’s a little different. The field sizes for major No-limit Hold’em tournaments are smaller than in previous years, thanks in part to travel restrictions. In addition to that, the tournament’s location has changed this year, from the summer to the fall. That shift means that some players won’t participate in the event.

WSOP Online Circuit

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has announced new online tournament formats for the coming year. This season will feature 180 Gold Rings, distributed over 13 online events. One of these events will take place in a newly-regulated market, and the remaining events will be held in the traditional live circuit. WSOP President Ty Stewart has said that the 2021 online circuit will focus on value, and will build on the success of the online tournaments last year.

The WSOP announced this year that it plans to move all thirteen series to the online platform. The original plan was to hold the online tournaments in New Jersey, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. But the COVID-19 pandemic has slowed that process. In order to ensure that players in those states continue to have the opportunity to play, the WSOP moved all 13 stops online.
